Spa Etiquette

We advise that bookings be made in advance to secure your preferred date and time of treatment
Robes and slippers will be provided. We also provide lockers for your clothing and belongings. Please ensure you secure all you valuables in your locker
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time
We accept cash and all major credit & debit cards. Your treatments may also be charged to your suite
As a courtesy, we request that you advise of cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid being charged in full
Late arrival will result in a reduced treatment time and the full charge will still apply
We also request that cellular phones be switched off or on silent mode

1. How do I make a booking?

Electronic enquiries about Equinox Spa can be done by clicking on the "Bookings" tab and submitting your enquiry. You can contact us by phoning 021 - 4300 511
2. What are your opening hours?
8h00 to 20h00 Monday to Saturday, 9h00 to 18h00 on Sundays
3. Is there parking available?
Valet parking is available to spa guests, either on the ground floor (off Main Road), or Mezzanine level (off Upper Portswood Road) or the first floor (behind hotel off Upper Portswood Road).
4. What about the gym facility?
The gym is open daily from 5h00 to 23h00 - no charge applies for in-house guests. Please note - no under 16's.
5. Do you offer gifting options?
Gift vouchers for any treatment(s) or products can be purchased from the spa, please click on the "Bookings" tab. Please note that vouchers are valid for three (3) months from the date of purchase, and need to be handed in at the spa reception upon checking in for your treatments, in order for it to be redeemed as payment.
6. Do you have arrangements for special needs guests?
Direct wheelchair access from the elevators is available, as well as a wheelchair accessible toilet and treatment room with hydraulic treatment bed. Please inform your therapist if you are pregnant, lactating or have any allergies.
7. What about Corporate Wellness / group bookings?
Please inquire by using our electronic booking sheet - corporate and group packages and rates are available.
8. What do I wear for my treatment?
Robes, slippers and disposable underwear are provided to each guest - please make use of our change rooms and lockers.
Please note - when having a spray tan treatment, ensure to bring loose fitting, black clothing to wear afterward.
9. Do you have a tipping policy?
Gratuities are not included in the bill, and absolutely up to the discretion of the guest. Gratuities can be given in cash, or charged to the debit/credit card or room charge (for in-house guests only).
10. Is there an age restriction for making use of the spa & fitness centre?
Fitness centre - age 16 and older.
Spa - under 16's require parental supervision & parent/guardian must sign an indemnity form.
